CIRCUIT TRAINING CLASSES
I run a small circuit class on Tuesday evenings in Warnham Village Hall between 6.20pm and 7.20pm. Age and current fitness level is irrelevant as each person can work to their ability. About Circuit Training
We start with a warm up, or even a short game of netball or basketball with no rules, it’s just a fun way to get the muscles warm and prevent an injury. Some weeks we will move from one exercise to another after a period of time such as 45 seconds. We work on cardio, muscular strength, agility, balance, reaction times and core. One week we will complete a full work out with kettle bells and another week everyone does the same exercise using a pyramid formula.

If circuit classes is not for you, I run another class on Wednesday evenings from 7-8 pm for a Kettle bell workout called Kettlercise, at Bodywise Gym and Studio in Warnham Village.

It has been found that short bursts of exercise at a high intensity can burn lots of calories and build up your fitness faster. The benefit of circuits or Kettlebell workouts is that there is a great variety of exercises that does not get boring and you complete them in short bursts. These can compliment other sports such as running, cycling, football etc. For instance jumping onto a step can improve sprint cycling or running.
